Intramural Sports

The Sailfish spirit isn’t limited to intercollegiate athletics at PBA. Health, fitness and a fun competitive drive are part of our culture. And a majority of our students fuel this drive by competing in a broad range of intramural sports and activities.

Calling All Sports

Intramurals are offered through Campus Recreation. Taking part in intramurals is a great way to make new friends, stay in shape and compete against, and alongside, fellow students in a fun and friendly environment. Sports offered include:

  • Men’s basketball
  • Women’s basketball
  • Men’s flag football
  • Women’s flag football
  • Co-ed beach volleyball
  • Co-ed indoor volleyball
  • Co-ed floor hockey
  • Co-ed racquetball
  • Co-ed soccer
  • Co-ed softball

Fast Facts

  • Approximately 2/3 of students participate in intramurals at PBA.
  • Many indoor intramurals take place in the 65,000 square foot Greene Complex.
  • PBA’s outdoor intramurals take place at the 78 acre Rinker Athletic Campus.

Find Your Fit

In addition to intramurals, you’ll also be able to choose from a variety of club sports, exercise classes and outdoor activities. Club sports include cheerleading, dance, ultimate Frisbee and rowing. And you can rent kayaks, paddleboards and snorkel gear from Campus Recreation.
