Palm Beach Atlantic University's Center for Integrative Science Learning offers a Summer Science Camp and Summer Science Institute. The camps use a multi-disciplinary approach for Big Ideas and Florida Department of Education Standards in science with fun, unconventional approaches.
Summer Science Camp: Grades 1-5
Week 1 (June 4-8): The Science of Natural Disasters
Students will explore activities that relate to biology, chemistry, earth science and physics to different aspects of natural disasters (tornados, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, earthquakes and more!)
Week 2 (June 11-15): The Science of Survival
Students will explore the multifaceted world of survival and will understand how to utilize their knowledge of science to help solve problems. Experiments will use skills in biology, chemistry, earth science and physics.
Summer Science Institute: Grades 6-12
Week 1 (June 4-8, 2018): The Science of Natural Disasters
The science institute teach students skills in biology, chemistry, earth science and physics to explore different aspects of natural disasters. Topics will be studied through wet laboratory experiments, guided activities, computer modeling and physics laboratory activities.
Week 2 (June 11-15, 2018): The Science of Survival
Students will explore the exciting world of survival and will be taught how science can help understand concepts behind the science of finding and purifying water, the science of making fire, the physics of shelter building and much more! Experiments will use skills in biology, chemistry, earth science and physics.

Palm Beach Atlantic University's Classics Camp will inspire and teach your child about the classical world of ancient Greece and Rome. This year Classics Camp will be held on June 4-8, 2018 and will focus on the Trojan War. Through various disciplines, students will learn about history, The Iliad and The Odyssey, the root words of the Greek language, the philosophy of the ancient world, the science of ancient armies and ship building, arts, crafts and much more. Hands-on and group activities led by Honors faculty will help students become immersed in the ancient world and grasp the richness of the history and literature and gain academic enrichment.
The Preparatory Department is hosting a three-week Dance Summer Session June 4-22, 2018 offering dance classes in ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop and tap. All campers should bring their own lunch, snacks and water.
The program is offered for students ages 8 and up. Students attending summer classes are expected to have previously taken dance classes. It is also offered for beginners that wish to try out the three-week session before committing to a year-long program.
Camp hours are 9a.m. - 1p.m. and dance clothes and shoes are recommended.

Palm Beach Atlantic University summer sports camps provide expert coaching and extensive training in competitive fundamentals and tactics. The goal is to encourage enjoyment and success through a wholesome and enthusiastic learning environment where campers build, refine and test their skills. Camps run throughout June, July and August.
