  • A statement of your teaching philosophy
  • A statement on how you will integrate a Christian theistic worldview in your teaching/learning process

The School of Arts and Sciences is seeking adjunct faculty to teach interdisciplinary courses in the Humanities core classes, including a study of art, history, literature, music, and philosophy in a Christian context.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree with at least eighteen credit hours at the graduate level in art, history/political science, English/literature, or philosophy. The School of Arts and Sciences is seeking to employ an adjunct faculty member to teach one or more of the following courses: Elementary French I, and Intermediate French I.

Qualifications: Master's degree (or higher) in French is required, with experience in teaching French to non-native speakers as well as speakers of the language.

English Composition

The School of Arts and Sciences is seeking adjunct faculty to teach expository and research writing to first-year students in a Christian context in one or more of the following courses:

Pre-Composition (ENG 0093) focuses on basic skills of composition.

Composition I (ENG 1113) is an introduction to academic expository prose, including the

application of rhetorical patterns, a review of grammar, and an introduction to documentation.

Composition II (ENG 1123) concentrates on the writing of an extended academic argument with research and documentation.

Qualifications: Master's Degree (or higher) with at least eighteen credit hours at the graduate level in English. For the Pre-Composition course, experience in basic composition and ESOL is an advantage.

Available for Spring semester, courses include the following: Group Theories and Practice, Counseling Internship I or II, Career Development Practices and Systems, General Counseling Theories I, Dynamics of Marriage and Family Systems, and Family Theory and Counseling Techniques.

Gregory School of Pharmacy

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice
Type: Adjunct, Part Time
Date Available: Fall and Spring
Required:  This position requires a PharmD degree, eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida, and completion of a pharmacy residency (PGY-1 [preferred but not required]). The successful candidate will facilitate a section of Case Studies in Pharmacotherapy, a problem-based learning course.  The course meets weekly on Wednesday afternoons.  Adjunct clinical pharmacists are also needed to lecture on individual disease management topics in the integrated pharmacotherapy sequence that is team taught.  Candidates must support the Christian mission of the school.  Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and willingness to integrate one’s faith into teaching and mentorship.  Faculty members are afforded a unique opportunity to teach in a supportive Christian environment that promotes spiritual growth as a means to personal and professional growth.
