Student Government and Clubs and Organizations

The Student Government Association exists to promote on-campus clubs, organizations and involvement.

Interested in being involved in Student Government? Need to enhance your computer skills? Whatever your interests, Palm Beach Atlantic University likely has the club you need to express them.

Student clubs are moderated through the Student Activities, Involvement & Leadership office, located on the second floor of the Lassiter Student Center.

A.L.I.C.E (A Live Improv Comedy Experience): Promotes improvisational talents and humorous entertainment, and requires an audition.

Alpha Psi Omega (Theatre Honor Society): An honorary professional fraternity for those students who have excelled in theatre.

American Marketing Association: Providing a relevant marketing experience for the students of Palm Beach Atlantic.


American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP): Prepares pharmacy students for residencies, promotes networking and clinical pharmacy in a health-system environment.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) bring MLB player Matt Holliday to chapel. 


Beyond Charity: A club dedicated to inspire, transform, and break poverty: one loan, one person, and one country at a time.

Chi Phi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International: The International Nursing Honor Society whose mission is advancing world health and celebrating nursing excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service.

Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI): promotes Christian applications within the pharmacy profession and enables students to develop spiritual, moral, and ethical principles to aid them when faced with professional dilemmas.

Christian Pharmacy Fellowship International: motivates and equips pharmacy students to practice faith in Jesus Christ in their personal and professional lives.

Christians United for Israel: A pro-Israel organization that strives to encourage Christians to speak on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people. CUFI hosts engaging events to help the PBA campus understand the conflict in the Middle East and how it affects us.

College Democrats: Spark political initiative in the campus community and promote the ideals of the Democratic Party.

College Republicans: Support the principles, objectives and platform of the Republican Party and work for the election of all duly nominated Republican Party candidates.

Concert Choir: Open to all students, but requires an audition.


Delta Epsilon Chi: Nurtures leadership in the fields of marketing, merchandising, advertising, salesmanship, culinary arts, criminal justice, entrepreneurship, financial services and international business.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA): Promotes relationships with coaches and athletes to impact their commitment to Jesus Christ with integrity, service, teamwork, and excellence.


The History Club: Designed to promote interest in history, provide career information for majors and minors, and get students involved in history projects off campus.

Investment Club Charter: Teaching students to invest and perform within the market while learning the fundamental principles of investing and growing collectively as a group.


Jazz Ensemble: Open to all students, but requires an audition.

Kappa Delta Epsilon (Education Honor Society): An honorary professional education fraternity whose purpose is to promote the cause of education by fostering a spirit of fellowship, high scholastic standards, and professional ideals among its members.

Lambda Pi Eta: The honor society of the National Communication Association.


Marine Biology Club: Promotes the conservation and education of marine environment.

Mathematics Society: Open to all students to further the interest of math through discussions, guest speakers, and service projects.

Mock Trial Club: To unite students wo have a common interest in law, debate, legal issues, legal theatre and the courts through competitive mock trials.

Newman Club: Provides fellowship and understanding among Catholic students.

Nurse's Christian Fellowship: Dedicated to helping nurses and students to demonstrate Christ to patients and to one another.

Oratorio Chorus: Open to all students, performs the choral masterworks.


Palm Beach Atlantic Student Nursing Association: Allows students an opportunity to participate in professional activities and the legislative process.

PBA Praise: A contemporary gospel choir.

PBA Premedical Society: Unifies premedical students by providing resources, speakers, discussions, volunteer experiences, etc. to grow leading Christian physicians.

PBA Symphony: A university/community orchestra, which is open to all students but requires an audition.

Pep Band: Open to all students, but requires an audition.

Phi Alpha Theta: History Honors Society.

Phi Delta Chi (Pharmacy Honor Society): Strives to advance the science of pharmacy and its allied interest, to foster and promote a fraternal spirit among its members, and promote innovative lasting leadership skills and professional growth.

Pi Sigma Alpha: Honorary Political Science society.

Pre-Dental Society: Unify students interested in dental school and provide information on pursuing dental school, the DAT, etc.

Pre-Health Club: Provides knowledge of the medical field and how to succeed in its competitive environment.

Pre-Law Association: Provides knowledge of the legal field, as well as preparing for law school. 


Pre-Pharmacy Club: Aids admission and entry to the Pharm.D program.

Presidential Ambassadors: An organization of students who act as Ambassadors of goodwill for PBA. They promote ongoing, strong, and positive relationships among students, alumni, administration, faculty, staff and parents as well as the greater West Palm Beach community.

Psi Chi Honor Society: The national honor society in psychology.

Psychology Club: Provides avenues of communication for all students interested in psychological study.


Sailfish Athletic Training Organization: Provides opportunities for professional development for those pursuing a career in athletic training or sports medicine, and educates the public about the job of an athletic trainer, performs community outreach, and represents the affiliated university and its core values.

Sailfish Spirit: Supports and promotes school spirit among PBA's men's and women's basketball teams.

Science Club: Enhances student’s knowledge of science through discussions, guest speakers, field trips and more. A traditional event is the "Great American Bug Race" held during homecoming week.

Sigma Beta Delta: The Business Honor Society.

Sigma Tau Delta: A national honor society whose selected members have excelled in English and Literature.

Symphonic Band: Open to all students, but requires an audition.

The Science Club is one of Palm Beach Atlantic University's largest clubs, with various activities and outings, including the Great American Bug Race.
Every year, the science club hosts the traditional "Great American Bug Race" during homecoming week. 

Student-Athlete Council: Acts as a liaison between students, student support personnel and the Department of Athletics.

Theta Alpha Kappa: The national honor society for Religious Studies and Theology whose purpose is to encourage, recognize and maintain excellence in these studies among students.

Transfer Club: Support club for students who have transferred from another school to PBA.

Women's Chorale: Open to all female students and performs on campus and in the community.
