Student Government and Clubs and Organizations

The Student Government Association exists to promote on-campus clubs, organizations and involvement.

Interested in being involved in Student Government? Need to enhance your computer skills? Whatever your interests, Palm Beach Atlantic University likely has the club you need to express them.

Student clubs are moderated through the Student Activities, Involvement & Leadership office, located on the second floor of the Lassiter Student Center.

A.L.I.C.E (A Live Improv Comedy Experience): Promotes improvisational talents and humorous entertainment, and requires an audition

Alpha Psi Omega (Theatre Honor Society): An honorary professional fraternity for those students who have excelled in theatre

American Marketing Association: Providing a relevant marketing experience for the students of Palm Beach Atlantic

BioTechnology Association: Promotes the study of biotechnology and engages students of that interest


Fellowship of Christian Athletes bring MLB player Matt Holliday to chapel

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) bring MLB player Matt Holliday to chapel. 


Cafe con Leche: A Spanish speaking community that provides fellowship for students who speak Spanish 

Christian Skaters and Surfers International: A collective of Christians that skate. We believe our love for Jesus and love for skating can serve one another to bring the kingdom of God to the ends of the earth

Christians United for Israel: A national association through which pro-Israel individuals can speak and act with one voice in support of Israel in matters related to biblical issues

Circle K: An international collegiate service organization that is a service leadership program of Kiwanis International

College Democrats: Support the principles, objectives and platform of the democratic party and work for the election of all duly nominated democratic party candidates

College Republicans: Support the principles, objectives and platform of the republican Party and work for the election of all duly nominated republican Party candidates

Communitas: Encouraging interpersonal communication through conversation and face-to-face interaction

Cru: An organization helping to fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith and sending them to win and build others and helping the body of Christ to do evangelism and discipleship through a variety of creative ways 

CUFI (Christians United for Israel): A national grassroots movement focused on the supports of Israel

Delight: A women's ministry that  promotes fellowship and empowers women through the study of scripture


Fellowship of Christian Athletes: Promotes relationships with coaches and athletes to impact their commitment to Jesus Christ with integrity, service, teamwork, and excellence

Global Network Society: Provides support for international business students

International Student Engagement Team: A group of students dedicated to reaching out to international students and supporting them through college

Investment Club: The investment club aims to help develop and train students by giving them the opportunity to gain tangible work experience. Activities will include doing valuations and pitching stocks all under the umbrella of proprietary trading, in order to prepare students for any finance-based career or to manage their own personal finances


Kairos Ministries: A ministry that focuses on bible study, fellowship and worship

Kappa Phi: A women's Christian service club


Marine Biology Club: Promotes the conservation and education of marine environment

Mathletes: Enhance and spread the enjoyment of mathematics for the PBA family and community  

Matthew 29: A group dedicated to sharing the gospel in and around West Palm Beach 

Newman Club: Provides fellowship and understanding among Catholic students


PBA Praise: A contemporary gospel choir who serves through acts of service and music in the community

Philosophy Club: An organization dedicated to the pursuit of truth through philosophy

PetsNDanger: Working with local and national organization to promote animal welfare

Pre-Dental Society: Unify students interested in dental school and provide information on pursuing dental school, the DAT, etc.

Pre-Health Society: Unify premedical students by providing resources, speakers, discussions, volunteer experiences, etc. to grow leading Christian physicians

Pre-Law Society: Unify students pursuing a career in law and provide information and aid in that pursuit

Pre-Pharmacy Society: Aids admission and entry to the Pharm.D program

Pre-Law Society: Unify students pursuing a career in law and provide information and aid in that pursuit 

Presidential Ambassadors: An organization of students who act as Ambassadors of goodwill for PBA. They promote ongoing, strong and positive relationships among students, alumni, administration, faculty, staff and parents as well as the greater West Palm Beach community

Psi Chi Honor Society: The international honor society in psychology

Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA): Unifies and aids students pursuing a career in public relations

Running Club: Encourages a healthy lifestyle through running with others to maintain an enjoyable and accountable environment 



Sailfish Athletic Training Organization: Provides opportunities for professional development for those pursuing a career in athletic training or sports medicine, and educates the public about the job of an athletic trainer, performs community outreach, and represents the affiliated university and its core values

Sailing Club: Teaches students to sail and provides the means for students who know how to sail and participate and compete

Science Club: Enhances student’s knowledge of science through discussions, guest speakers, field trips and more. A traditional event is the "Great American Bug Race" held during homecoming week

Sitters in a Second: a community of individuals who all work for Sitters in a Second

Spikeball Club: Hosts open spikeball events to engage students in low-pressure, non-competitive activities

Swing Club: Teaches students social swing and hosts dances

Transfer Club: Support club for students who have transferred from another school to PBA.

The Science Club is one of Palm Beach Atlantic University's largest clubs, with various activities and outings, including the Great American Bug Race.
Every year, the science club hosts the traditional "Great American Bug Race" during homecoming week.
