 About Our Students

PBA's 2010 National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

Who are our students? They come from every region of the United States, and from all around the world. Our international students represent nearly 40 countries, including:

  • Ecuador
  • Bahamas
  • India
  • Japan
  • Venezuela
  • Vietnam

Our students are heavily involved in various on and on-campus activities - from gospel choirs to mission trips and everything in between.

Our students participate. They volunteer in our local community, travel the world on student missions and actively participate in more than 30 student organizations, from academic to professional, religious to musical, including:

  • Club S.A.I.L.
  • Book Club
  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes
  • Future Lawyers of America
  • PBA Praise
  • Science Club
  • Student Government
  • Student Veterans Group

We have a variety of student athletics options as well as Intramural sports. Below is a list of all our offerings.

With full-time coaches who care about success on the field and off, our student athletes compete in dynamic NCAA Division II programs and train in excellent facilities in an environment that fosters sportsmanship. With an upcoming 30,000-square-foot athletic complex on about 76 acres of land near campus, Sailfish athletics will provide dynamic baseball, softball, soccer and tennis facilities. Our students also participate in weightlifting, kickboxing and Pilates.

The PBA Sailfish are truly on the move (after all, our mascot is the fastest fish in the ocean). We compete in the challenging NCAA Division II. Our coaches are focused on building on our past (we won five NCCAA regional championships in one year) and propelling PBA athletics into the future. To read more, visit pbasailfish.com.
