“Vicki’s proven track record in all areas of fund development, including capital campaigns, annual support, special events, endowment, planned giving and grant writing serve the University’s needs at this point in its history,” President Fleming said. “Her passion for improving the community where she lives and works speaks to PBA’s core values to lead and serve.”

"Christ-centered higher education provides an incredible investment opportunity for donors who are committed to developing future leaders for our community, our nation and our world,” Pugh said. “I look forward to serving PBA in its fundraising efforts and working closely with President Fleming, the staff and faculty."

Prior to joining the YMCA, Pugh was Director of Corporate and Foundation Support for Palm Beach Atlantic University for five years. Her work experience includes fund-raising positions at Ballet Florida, the New York City Opera and Carnegie Hall.

Fulfilling her passion for community development and partnerships, Pugh has spearheaded innovative programs and projects including a boundless playground for children with disabilities, intergenerational preschool, children’s concert series, infant swimming, a mentoring program for at risk teens, afterschool enrichment curriculum, and exercise programs for people with Parkinson’s Disease. She serves on the boards of the Parkinson’s Association of Greater Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach West Rotary and Christ Presbyterian Church. In addition, she is a faculty member of Y-USA, serving as a trainer for leadership development courses.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in music, cum laude, from DePauw University in Indiana.

Pugh lives in Ormond Beach with her husband, Tim, and daughters Aline, age 13, and Grace, age 8. She is an ordained elder at Christ Presbyterian Church in Ormond Beach, where the family worships. She also serves on the church’s session and praise team.
