“The Intercultural Exchange Seminar builds a relationship with the University of Salzburg, and may lead to further collaboration,” said Dr. Leslie Turner, interim dean of the Rinker School of Business.
In addition to attending an MBA course on campus, the group is scheduled to visit several local businesses, including Rybovich, The Weitz Company and Templeton & Company. H. Wayne Huizenga Jr., chairman of the board of Rybovich, is the 2011 recipient of PBA’s American Free Enterprise Medal. And, Steven A. Templeton, founder and CEO Templeton & Company, is the chair of the Rinker School of Business Advisory Board.
“University of Salzburg MBA students visiting businesses here enhances the reputation of PBA to a broader audience, locally, and in Austria,” said Turner.
And in exchange, students will become acquainted with U.S.-based companies and their representatives, establish international contacts and build international networks.
