Two accomplished leaders in their fields, Paul Donahue and Kenneth Kennerly, will be honored with companion medals during Palm Beach Atlantic University’s American Free Enterprise Day ceremony Nov. 7.
American Free Enterprise Day has been an event at Palm Beach Atlantic since 1984 and honors individuals whose hard work and achievement exemplify the best of the American free enterprise system. Paul P. Donahue is president and chief executive officer of G4S Government Solutions, Incorporated (G4S GS), formerly known as Wackenhut Services, Inc. G4S GS, located in Palm Beach Gardens, is the U.S. Government division of G4S, plc, the largest security provider in the world, with estimated revenues of $14 billion and 690,000 employees.
G4S GS provides paramilitary, security, fire and emergency protection and K-9 facilities management services to sensitive government facilities. Donahue has been with G4S GS since 1994.
He has 20 years of experience in the financial and operational management of government and private sector organizations. Donahue is a certified protection professional with the American Society of Industrial Security and is certified in Homeland Security with the American College of Forensic Examiners International. He is a certified management accountant, a certified forensic accountant and a certified business manager.
He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University, where he is on the Rinker School of Business Advisory Board, and an accounting degree from the University of Miami.

With more than 27 years in the sports marketing industry, Kennerly has been instrumental in the production of professional and amateur tournaments, corporate strategic consulting, sporting hospitality programs and the representation of several top-ranked professional golf athletes and media personalities.
In 2006, the PGA Tour recruited Kennerly to resurrect The Honda Classic and transform it into one of the premier sporting events not only in Palm Beach County but also on the tour nationwide. Capitalizing on the many assets of Palm Beach County, The Honda Classic, in seven years, has become a “must attend” event, boasting an increased attendance of more than 160,000 spectators in 2013 and more than $2.1 million in charitable contributions.

Donahue and Kennerly will be honored at the same ceremony as Tim Gannon, co-founder of Outback Steakhouse and CEO of Palm Beach PDQ.
