Graduate Ministry Programs Expand to Orlando

Palm Beach Atlantic University’s popular graduate ministry programs will be offered at the Orlando Campus beginning in January 2018.

“Orlando has become a hub for Christian ministry organizations and activity,” said Dr. Jonathan Grenz, dean of the School of Ministry, in announcing the offerings of the Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Christian Studies. “Given the overall population and the number of PBA alumni living in the area, it seemed natural to offer our seminary education programs in Orlando,” he said.

The School of Ministry’s dynamic faculty from PBA’s West Palm Beach and Orlando campuses, all of whom hold the highest degrees and are published authorities in their fields, will teach the graduate courses. Grenz pointed to the number of vibrant evangelical churches in the area where graduate students will work under the supervision of a seasoned pastor to fulfill the apprenticeship component of the M. Div. degree.

The School of Ministry’s Graduate Department in West Palm Beach at present contains nearly 50 students. The School’s partnership network has grown to 60 churches, spanning 10 different denominations that serve as apprenticeship sites.
